That's the wrong way to stand out in Round 2. No explanation that I can see. Some pitching fatigue issues but no games really blown because of it. Just a bad L10.

We have a winner!

I think I've had 1 or 2 team teams ever that have finished under .500...
And now all of a sudden I don't know how to build a winning team.
This is the opposite of fun.
I expected my $110M team to suck, but not the others.

In first 162 games, I scored 718 runs and gave up 718 runs.
I went 17-17 in one run games.
But I have 82 wins.
Outperformers!

Above average in runs scored and more + plays than errors/- plays. It's entirely the pitching that has failed thus far. Fatigue issues was/are part of that, but not to the extent they'd be this bad.

I'd love to know what is going on in the $130M league. I have a high average/slugging, low HR offense, and a low OAV, modern pitching staff playing at Target Field. Through 12 home games, I'm 4-8 and both my offense and pitching are well worse than their RL numbers. No way that should be happening in this ballpark.

WIS is an extremely fickle game.
Round 2 of the WISC is a notorious slog against 23 other owners all of similar ability to create good to very good teams.

Add the two together what do we get?

I made a huge mistake by putting my 90M team in Petco. They aren't a good fit there, but I was worried about IP. Panic move. Let it be a lesson to never pick your stadium based on IP constraints. Hoping it doesn't cost me the win.

Still doesn’t explain obvious discrepancies. For example, ozo’s ‘19 Verlander has an ERA under 2 playing at Target. Mine is over 6. That’s not simply because he’s a better owner.
