Poll: Trump is going to lose. What happens then? Topic

It's fairly clear by now that Trump is about to lose the election. Roughly 260 electoral votes are heading Biden's way from states that aren't close in the polling. Trump would have to sweep every single toss-up state to win and that's unlikely. If the polls are as wrong as they were in 2016, Biden ends up with 290 electoral votes. If they are as wrong as they were in 2012, he's in the mid-to-high 300s. So what happens then?

It depends on how much he loses by. If it's close, he'll sue the **** out of everyone and try to pull off a coup. If he loses in a landslide, he'll probably ***** for a bit and then go start a television or radio show on FOX or OAN or whatever. Maybe he'll fill Rush Limbaugh's timeslot.

Not sure a radio/TV show gives him the immediate audience reaction he craves... stadium tour to get early start on 2024 campaign might be the move.

There’s gonna be riots and 3.5 years of trying to remove a duly elected President.

Only Republicans would do stuff like that!

As El Paso, Texas, battles the worst coronavirus outbreak in the nation as measured by population-adjusted cases, the city is also still fighting to get Trump’s campaign to pay its outstanding bill from a rally held there in 2019.

Trump’s outstanding balance of $569,204.63 for the rally he held in the border town back in February of last year still hasn’t been paid, according to El Paso Mayor Dee Margo.

“We’ve been unable to collect,” he told Yahoo Finance. “We're told even if we filed suit, chances of collection are slim.”

Hillarious. Love it, but all the Liberals around here won't appreciate the sarcasm.

I don't think BL was being sarcastic, although that is how I first read it too. BL is one of the most liberal posters around here.

Except it wasn't BL who posted. (Unless d_rock is a known duplicate of his - I don't keep-up with those senseless games.)

you're right. Sorry. As far as I know bad luck and d_rock are not the same person, but the same thing applies. I think d_rock leans to the left.

Yes. I didn't say it was gospel. Is just a very different point of view from many MSM polls.

Come Tuesday we learn who is correct...

That’s a fan account. There’s no analysis or data going on there, and it’s only citing Trafalgar, which admits to goosing it’s own numbers for Trump.
