The racial divisions in our country have been purposefully inflamed in the aftermath of OWS...the 1% , our corporate masters, did not want to see us working together to fight them. Thus the narrative was changed. Systemic classism poses a greater threat to all of us than systemic racism. Our masters want us to fight amongst ourselves. We must come together, left and right, and fight the global corporate, capitalist elite. Hear hear!
I actually don't disagree that classism is a larger problem than racism. However, I think fighting both can go hand in hand.

Malcolm X, MLK, etc. Many racial activists were and are also socialists.

I don't think that the solutions to systemic racism should hurt white people.

While I usually disagree with you on stuff, this one has my " I actually don't disagree that classism is a larger problem than racism. "

I have a couple questions for OWS:

1) What is your ultimate goal?
2) What have you accomplished so far? Pi$$ing off hard working people doesn't count

A legit third Q might be "Are you working?' (didn't think so)

See, Republicans will say that classism is a problem while simultaneously vilifying the poor and making it harder for them. Really makes it seem like they don't care too much about it.

I can't speak for OWS, but my goal personally would be to increase economic mobility as much as possible while also increasing disposable income.

That's interesting. How do the Republicans do that?

Aldershot/Lost and Found isn't a Republican. He isn't even an American.

Give them tons and tons of "free" stuff and ask the top 1% to pay 99% of all taxes.

Sitting around whining about it sure in the heck ain't the answer.

Sure some people are fortunate enough to inherit family money, but just as many people are proof that hard work and intelligence can get you where you want to be too. This "Robin Hood" BS so many people feel they are entitled to needs to stop, and stop now.

Hard work and intelligence will make you happy. Bring you peace of mind! That's true all3. BUT, hard work and intelligence will NOT make you wealthy. THAT takes a bit of fortune as well as hard work, intelligence, and good financial management. There is NO link between working hard and wealth------------MILLIONS of paupers all over the Globe work far harder than almost all the wealthy.

Wealth is relative.

If he is happy he won’t be snappy.
wealth in some cases is relatives.
11/30/2020 9:39 AM
That's rich.
11/30/2020 9:47 AM
For far too many, wealth is KNOWING you'll have food and shelter next week.
