The Rules

* · Serpentine draft. 1 player per round in rounds 1-5, 2 players in round 6.


Draft Order

The returning owners that did not make the playoffs will be in a NBA-style draft lottery. The other returning owners will then be placed behind them in order of playoff finish(with regular season record the tiebreaker). New owners will be placed behind them in order of who joined first.

Owners will have the option to request their spot in the draft order by indicating closer to 1/24/? when they sign up. You may change your choice up until the final draft order is set. Owners that did no indicate where they want to draft will be given whatever spots are left.

If you choose closer to 24 you will not be in the draft lottery. For the draft lottery, commissioner will break ties (for the ping pong balls) by random.org. If the Commissioner's team is involved Commissioner will take the worse draft pick.

24 hour draft rule in Round 1. Commissioner will pick a player if a GM does not draft in 24 hours so the draft can proceed (No skips). After Round 1 players may be skipped but the Commissioner has discretion in selecting a player for the team.


Divisions

Divisions will NOT be random. They will be drafted by the top 4 owners from last season. The division draft will take place immediately after the player draft ends, while we wait for the league to fill.
