When i first joined there was an owner that ran a random walk through history league that i really liked.
It was challenging at 80M especially with a DH some seasons. My league will differ in that groups will be mostly
random and i'll list why they are not completely random in a bit. Also his league did not include the early teams
mine will. Some of the rules will be a little different.

I will random draw and take the first 288 teams out of list of 2799 available teams in the database. Yes I created a list
of every team it took a couple of hours. Each group will contain 12 teams. Here is why it not completely
random each group must meet the

1,2,3,4 Rule

1 - The Number of years apart from the same team so Example 21 Yankees(you will not get 20 or 22 Yankees since there is no clones)
2 - The Most # of teams from 1800s a group can have( Often these teams have bad fielding and expensive players and no cheap options)
3 - The Most # of teams from the same year (variety sake and what if it is a really sucky year)
4 - The Most # of teams from the same Decade - Decade is defined as 0 to 9 ex 1900-1909( i play tested this idea and inherit advantages depending on the era (2010's elite RP for one)
2020 will count as part of 2010 until 2021 is in the database if it makes it to that point. I hope it will

When these are broken i just take the last team in a group that made it illegal and grabbed the first one in the next group and if at the end
just took the next in line. Sorry this is probably too much info.

I will be putting the groups in numerical order just to make sure i don't mess up the rules

Once all the league is full I'm have a Hall of Famer not in the random randomize 1-24 for me for group assignments

Once your assigned a group you will select 2 players from every team in the group and a 3rd from whatever team you want

I found 85M in my playtesting to be a great cap and gives everyone a chance no matter what's in your group.
You will have studs and superstars and tough decisions to make. You may have to platoon and so on...It will be fun and
frustrating building your team

Min PA: 5500 ~ Carried over from Random Walk league prevents fatigue strategies
Min IP: 1300
Stadium: Use one of the Teams in your group
Clones: NO
AAA: No
WW: No
Players: Every player on your team must play n in a game no matter how you
want to accomplish that...whats the point of having 2 of every team if they don't play.
Division Alignment: Random

I used 3 letter abbreviations mostly found on baseball-refence but some i created for clarity.

1890...I found out is a very weird season...There is 2 NY Giants that played and 2 Philadelphia Athletics

Check baseball Reference for correct rosters. I will be checking

NYG: Is New York Giants they will have a season in 1891. NYI is the NY Giants that doesn't have a 1891 season
PHA: Is Philadelphia Athletics that will have a season in 1891. PHL Will not

I put a lot of work into this so please let me know if any comments or concerns

When its all said and done we will have played with and drafted 2 players from every team in the database!

Meaning some leagues let you allow 225K or less from that year or your franchise and not have to be from your group of teams. You cant do that here its 2 players from every team and a 3rd from any other one in your group. I put that because the league i "borrowed" this from had a 200K rule.
