if there are no salary cap considerations I'm taking Halladay, but value-wise I would prefer Quinn since you don't have to pay extra for his home run suppression. This is a good comparison since they have almost identical normalized stats but Quinn is much cheaper since he pitched in a low HR era.

Thanks. I was like they are pretty darn similar and couldn't decide but i currently have Halladay but maybe i can upgrade a batter with the extra 700K. Halladay K rate is double at 4.61 so that is probably why his ERC+ is a tad higher at 131 compared to 128.

you will get better defense behind Halladay but I don't think enough to justify spending the extra money

Depends on your rotation size and how you plan to use them.

Halladay can comfortably pitch in a 4 or 5 man rotation, his IP/G is over 7 so you can trust him for 6 innings per start.
Quinn is a 5 inning pitcher, so you'd have to plan accordingly.
