Okay, can you explain how the high gas prices are their fault? Just because you think they are is not really an explanation.

You get the Government you elect/deserve. Both in Canada and the U.S.
OUR problem is the T-baggers (as THEY USED to call themselves).......... they decided to wake up and get involved en masse.
Vote, etc. Most ended up in the Republican Party----------basically aligning themselves with the VERY folks who had ignored them for decades.

It's called ignorance. I'm ****** and I'm gonna vote............BUT I'm NOT taking the time or making any effort to actually get INFORMED!
I'm just gonna vote based on fear and ignorance and misinformation spewed by charlatans attempting to USE my stupidity and divide the Country to gain votes and power.

You can't blame Governments for PEOPLE'S ignorance!

BYW Wylie, I think all governments are stupid.. not just the Dems, and Libs

More interested in controlling and regulating, than in SERVING the people who PAY them

This is not hard to understand
I don't think most governments are stupid. Most politicians (which means most governments, since governments are made up of politicians for the most part)are not stupid (with some exceptions...looking at you, MTG). They are mainly concerned with keeping/increasing whatever power they have. If doing so happens to benefit their constituents, great. If not, oh well. Like I often say, anyone who actually wants to be president should automatically be disqualified from doing so.

You get no argument from me on this one

One thing I have learned from the elections process is that there is no limit to human stupidity

Although IQ has a top floor

Depends on my day. I can, miss a 4 footer as easy as anyone you know. I have also chipped in from ten feet off the green for Eagle, so your guess is as good as mine. Putting is 98% mental and 2 percent coordination.

I practice putting for 15 minutes, and Chipping for an hour.. from ten ft off the green to 50 feet out. I try to take just one putt per hole. So chip like a pro, putt like Mister Magoo

Re:Socialism" Personally, I am all for subsidies for Blue collar trades school training. Not 100% but a big chunk of it. But they run just 10 months.. First year of Tech school also.. maybe pick up a 3rd of that tab.. second year, student is on his own. The payback is not having a shortage of good mechanics, electricians, Refrigeration Mech's, Welders, Millwrights and et al.

But for Lib arts degrees, on their own. BA gives you no real transferable skills, unless you are an Econ major

I knew a guy who was a BA in Sociology, but he didn't know how to change a flat tire

I think he went into politics.

Funny line...... that last bit.

Your practice routine sounds strong. Focus on the short irons is quite important.
But, you know the saying.......... "drive for show, putt for dough" is pretty dad gum accurate.
Back when I played I could putt well, and drive pretty good..........BUT, my iron play was about as consistent as Trump is at telling the truth. All over the place! But rarely accurate!!
