Absolutely no one asked to bring this back, but I'm doing it again with a few tweaks. Since I gave pitchers a bit of a break last go around, it was a bit too much of an advantage (after all WORSE pitchers is in the title). So this go around your "ace" starter (min 200IP) can have an ERA as low as 5.00. The rest of your pitchers must have a minimum ERA of 6.00, with the exception of your "closer". The "closer" has to have a minimum of 25 saves with an ERA of at least 5.00 (think Joe Borowski). This pitcher doesn't have to be your actual closer, but he needs to be on your roster. No other IP restrictions, but I suggest at least 1500IPs.
Your hitters all have to have no higher than a .240 average and no higher than a .300 OBP. This should help eliminate some "walk fest" games from seasons past. You get one "ringer" (a lineup regular) who can have a .250 AVG with no OBP restrictions at whatever position you choose. You also get one bench player (no more than 100 PAs) with no AVG or OBP restrictions (.400 hitter, sure). All other regulars and bench players have the .240/.300 restrictions.
No clones/WW/trades/ or DH. $80 mil payroll (with that pitching staff you probably won't even use it all). All stadiums must have a park factor of 1.00 or below (and I have filtered out as the only options to choose from).
So grab some Rolaids and endure some blown saves!
