Rivalries as a part of Realignment Topic

If they are truly building the engine from scratch using newer infrastructure then realignment may be plausible in the future (if they can separate the instances in a way where the worlds don't have to point to a centralized DB and can have localized modifications to order/name/etc. of teams, conferences, etc.).

The impact of implementation is still a big one but if the recoding allows them to build new worlds with realigned conferences while maintaining the integrity of the old worlds that may offer a solution that supports the best of both worlds.

Why do you keep discussing this, it is never going to happen

irrelevant... folks discuss random HD stuff because it amuses them to do so. HD is an outlet. we come here to waste time and think about things other than our lives, to bs with folks with a common interest. not like anyone is getting all amped up like YEAH CONFERENCE REALIGNMENT LETS DO THIS! no different than the random chit chat and gossip that is taking place a million places right now. very little % of conversation is actually important, maybe we should all be silent monks, except when it really matters? perhaps you should try it?
