Rochester franchise in the AL East (link)
This team will have the #4 pick in the upcoming draft. One of our long-time owners managed them for years, but left a few seasons ago. Since then, they've had 3 different owners in the past 5 years. The team isn't in bad shape, but could really stand to use some continuity and strategy.
Notable payers in this franchise include CF Omar Fontana, and stud RF Norberto Pineiro. Key prospects include last year's #15 pick 2B Norberto Baez and #31 pick C Alfonso Cano. Also S50 #24 pick Kenley Collins. Also S49 #21 pick Jumbo Montanez.
Between Pineiro and the #4 pick, you've got some solid content to work with here.
Charlotte franchise in AL South (link)
This team ended up with 90 wins this past season. One that was a power-house for many seasons, before the owner left the team. The replacement owners have done a solid job of keeping this one a strong team. The fact that they won 90 games this season is amazing considering we had an owner take over who started decimating the team before the league stepped in and undid his changes and asked him to leave. We never had to face that kind of situation before, but hopefully shows that we're proactive enough to fix problems as they arise. They've got pick #27 in the upcoming draft.
As a 90 win team, you'll see a ton of ML talent on this roster. It's also been managed well with several former late first round or comp pick players at most levels. Not looking at a ton of future superstars, but a healthy organization.

This team has been well run for several seasons, consistently staying at or slightly above .500. They won 86 games this past season. Here you've got a well run team with several strong veteran players. A fun one to step into and be successful with. They've got pick #22 in the upcoming draft.

Yadiel Bennett, and two-time former Cy Young winner
James Norton. Prospects include a ML ready SS sitting in AA in

El Paso franchise in the NL South (link)
This team we unfortunately had to have someone step in for late in the season as the owner went MIA. Good news is the replacement helped out by making sure the franchise was taken care of - draft picks signed, players put on DL or rested, signed to extensions, etc. The team has been loading up on some good young draft pieces over the past few seasons and should start stepping up to contention soon. They've got pick #14 in the upcoming draft.
This franchise has most of their ML roster on rookie contracts. Former #3 pick SP Kyle Bowles is the best of the bunch. In the minors they have former #3 pick SP Bip Roosevelt. And yet another former #3 pick in 2B Calvin Wolf. They've also picked up some solid IFAs over the years like 1B Felix Martin.
Omaha franchise in the NL West (link)
Unfortunately this is one that we had an owner who had to drop out. It's a team that's been building talent the past few seasons and will have another pick in the top half of the draft this season. Highlighting this team's stars starts with 3B Ismael Mendoza. This team has a ton of guys on rookie contracts and several more arbitration guys. Not much committed salary and tons of financial flexibility. Still in the organization are recent draft picks like 1B Daniel Parque, SP Mark Tracy, and SS Jeffrey Rothschild,. Recent IFAs include P Jose Romo, and RF Joaquin Santiago (who you can feel free to trade to me). A healthy organization with a ton of flexibility.
Houston franchise in the AL South (link)
This franchise had a long-time owner who decided to stop playing HBD right after we rolled, so unexpectedly open. They've been a playoff team the last few seasons, winning over 90 games for 3 seasons in a row. They've got the #29 pick in the draft. They come equipped with one of the biggest stars you'll find in this league in 2B Britt Maurer . On the pitching front, they've got a good one in SP Eli Garces. And while they don't have many recent high picks, they still have most of their recent 1st rd picks in their organization. It's a healthy franchise that you can step into and win right away.
