with that 100 d he is better than a few guys who have previously gone before him - his tertiary stats are quite complementary and he doesn't bring too many negatives to the table - I think mid 2 is the new normal for him

The low U% high creb w/100 D players
are useful but I prefer hi U% hi efg%
bigs. Efficient scoring lessens the creb
impact
Russ is a good pick but may not have
enough to bring the ring like he did
in the 60s

I know I took him earlier than he had been going recently, but I wanted a high usage, good defensive big to pair with DeAndre Jordan. He fits the bill and I didn’t want to take a chance on him not being there in the third round.

yeah I guess that's the fun. You can
anylize and overanalysize then the
engine screws it all up and
some chump takes the chip with
more luck than brains. Never underestimate
the brilliance of luck.
The game can't replicate the personal
brilliance someone like Russell brought
to the court or the sheer tenacity of MJ
