Joker went a couple picks later than last time (which was probably a reach, granted) despite posting that monster season

I was going to take Gobert at 12.

Wow just wow. Way back when I started playing in this league, Barkley was a lock for top 10.

I would still take Sir Charles ahead of some of the guys picked ahead of him this time

I agree, that combination of decently high usg at high efg and great oReb means he should go top 20, regardless of his ‘meh’ defense

I think sometimes people will have a plan based on where they pick and someone, in this case Barkley, will drop and then you have to decide whether to take Barkley and blow up your plan or just stick to your plan.

As for Gobert vs. Jordan, Rudy plays better defense, passes better, shoots free throws better, and has more usage and I think all that adds up.

hey degustibus and all but I mean we are talking about a couple of % pts on the assists in a position where I'm not even looking for them, and neither is going to take a ton of FTAs {so shrug} and for their best seasons the usage difference is, to me, relatively small - I am skeptical that there is much difference impact wise between a 90 and 100 D - I will take the better boards, more minutes and position flexibility - but again, degustibus
