Same argument could be applied to any individual sport. You’re right. I enjoy golf the most out of the individual sports. It’s an opportunity to enjoy nature and play a sport. There’s something peaceful about being on a golf course. The others don’t offer that. I do enjoy bowling and tennis too. Never tried boxing, but I don’t think I would enjoy voluntarily getting my face bashed in.

Not as bad as I'd have guessed. I'm in AZ, I suspect it costs more than that here. Would LOVE to learn I'm wrong.
I used to golf. Back when. Dark Ages. A round might have been 10 Bucks, less I think.

I live in Charleston now, so we definitely have some expensive places. Kiawah will run you about $700. Haha. But I’m usually pretty good about finding nice courses that aren’t exceptionally expensive.

I find it unrelentingly tedious to watch, but fun to play.

I WISH it was still $10, but the 70's are gone forever

Weekdays at Peace Portal $53. Weekends = $60

Great course, though 6550 yards, and just one 'gimme' birdie hole and that's number 10. 455 par 5.. tricky to hit the green though

Golf is boring? Until you hit a 290 yard drive right off the screws. Until you drop a 15 footer for a birdie. Until you pitch a 9 iron from 100 yards out and end up 3 feet from the pin. UNTIL, you shoot a 78 to break 80 for the first time.. Until you score your first Eagle. At that point, it is no longer boring

But you have to practice, and hitting an entire bucket of balls with the Driver is not intelligent practice. Most of your shots are from less than 50 feet from the hole. and don't be too proud to take a few lessons from a good teaching pro

Oh did I forget to mention.. it gets insane when you end up playing a crappy round and end up ten over your H cap
