Hello Everyone,

We are happy to announce features that are live from an update today.

SLBB - The long overdue update to the "State Farm" assist boost added. This will NOT affect any leagues that are currently in their season. Any league that is currently created and is filling will have the new engine implemented when the season starts.

HBD - New ballparks and franchises added. Ballparks for the various teams have been updated to better replicate real life or mirror real life situations. 4 international team (Cuba, Japan, England, South Korea) options have also been added for users to select in the appropriate division sections.

does this mean your meta rewrite is mainly done

and you can start focusing on game improvements and updates

For any franchise who's ballpark was updated/changed the team will now be playing at the updated ballpark.

has anyone created/updated the old spreadsheet version that also includes the Park Factor? Old-timers out there ---- anyone know?

For any franchise who's ballpark was updated/changed the team will now be playing at the updated ballpark.

What about Burlington? I don't see it on the new list.

Have the park ratings changed? I hope not. Owners build teams / choose players after first choosing a park type. It'd be absurd to flip parks on their head when owners have already made their decision.

Can you elaborate on the changes to "State Farm" assist boost?

Does this mean that Assist% won't endlessly stack and create unreal FG% anymore?

Correct, the engine has been modified to lower the impact that players with high assist/assist % had on shooting %.

Sorry... should have said the park *factors*. 1.000 +/- ... The 1B/2B/3B/LF/RF ratings, we've always been told, have never been used in the game program, only the park factor. Have the factors been changed? It would help if those were posted somewhere.

p.s. -- Checked my cities -- park factors *haven't* been changed, which means that the rating changes presumably have no effect on the game. Whew.

Updates are nice but what is being done to market and advertise WIS to bring on new users? HBD worlds are waiting a long time for rollovers and there seems to be an over reliance on long term players, players that are getting frustrated with the lag in time and wont stick around forever.
