Doubleday World needs ONLY 1 NL owner to start off Season 55!

We are a calm, low stress world that has good parity and a chance to win the WS every season.
We also have a 55 win (min win) per season requirement. There is a probationary period with this, not a hard removal process - we all make mistakes/have other things going on in our respective lives.

I'm a longtime HD/GD player, looking to get into HBD. Hoping to find a supportive league that wouldn't mind helping me learn the game without driving a franchise into the ground! If this is a good league for that, I'd love to talk about which of these teams might be good for a new player.

hey slayterhill, I think this would be a a good league for a beginner. Many owners are happy to answer any questions you might have and offer any help you need. As far as which team might be best for you, it depends. If you don't want to get involved in a total rebuild, one of the two teams around .500 might be best. If you want to totally reshape a team the way you want, one of the teams with a poor record might be best.

I've also played every Dynasty game out there. I had way more success at the others, however this is the most fun of the 3. If you join, feel free to hit me up and we can talk about hbd, or even HD. It's been too long since I've been in GD, so probably can't help you there!

Concur, I joined a couple of seasons ago and it's a good group of owners- no drama and lots of engagement, especially with trades.
