The tournament has arrived! #25 Benedictine (0-1) is a 20 point favorite in the opener against the unranked Johnnies (1-0) of St. John's. Bennedictine was lead in the opener by Sophomore Power Forward Tyler Smith who had 20 points. The Johnnies will try to counter down low with big men, Senior John Lao and Freshmen Josh Harrington.

Should be a barnburner in the McNeely Spectrum tonight!

Game one was tight at the half but Benedictine put its foot on the gas and ran away in the second half outscoring the Johnnies 44-27 in the period. Mark Covington lead all scorers with 16 in the game.

Tonight features a pair of games as all four teams will be in action. Washington makes the trip to Collegeville to take on the Johnnies while Benedictine heads to the Lone Star State to take on Texas Dallas. The road team is the favorite in both games as Benedictine is laying 33 and Washington is an 11 point favorite. If both teams are able to prevent an upset they will meet tomorrow in what should decide the tournament championship!
