Thus finishing the draft.
Next up is the dagger round.
There is no particular order for daggers. Anyone can post them at any time.
Let's try to have the first round daggers by Friday 11:59 pm.
A few rules for daggers.
The first round of daggers is actually two daggers. You dagger one player and one stadium.
If a team for some weird reason only has two eligible 1B or 2B or whatever, you cannot dagger one of the two in the first dagger round because that would make it impossible for the tream to field a legal roster.
Once you have been hit with your first dagger, you need to post which of your four teams will be eligible to receive the second dagger.
If a team only has two eligible players at a position for the second dagger round, the team being daggered cannot make either of those two teams eligible to receive the dagger.
For example team A has the Mets, Cubs, Astros and Reds. The Mets and Reds only have one eligible 1B and the Cubs and Astros have no eligible 1B. In the first dagger round you can't dagger either of his 1B because he wouldn't be able to create a legal roster. In the second dagger round, the daggered team cannot make either the Mets or Reds eligible to be daggered. He would have to choose between the Cubs and Astros. That way you are guaranteed having a legal roster with two eligible 1B.
Unless there are questions, let the daggering begin.
