I saw a post that was a bit more vague. I typically assume it is because I am usually wrong.

That may be a fun look into my own psychology.

Owners drafting the ODL really well for the second year in a row. There have been a few reaches but no one has dropped far.

Rodman/Kidd: for better or worse I basically got what I hoped for at the turn when I asked for closer to 24

tbf, everyone else loves DJ and lots of really good coaches have had tons of success with him. I just refuse to comply.

I guess I don't see DJ as that different from Gobert - he doesn't shoot quite as much, or as well from the line. But that's priced in. I slot him below Gobert, but above Capela and [undrafted] as far as low usage, high efficiency big men go.

He didn't really have me second guessing the David Robinson pick, though.

Eh, compared to Gobert, those 4 points of usage really mean a lot to me. He is 5 points worse on TS%, 5 points worse on AST% (which I don't care about assists except for avoiding extreme lows). DAJ is a better rebounder but diminishing returns in my experience. Capela I also think is going a little too high (honestly, Gobert going too high imo too). DAJ I feel like I would rather just platoon some guys. I am mostly alone there. Even Ben use DAJ a lot and he has more recent success than I have.

Sadly for me, I like the Rodman/Kidd pair a lot.

Also, the trade isn’t about DJ vs Gobert vs Capela. It is about who does that stuff at #47.

I just did a quick look. I probably have Gobert at 13. DAJ probably at like 18. Capela at like 23. That is all pretty close to their ADP. So I guess they go at about the right spots and I am full of sh**.
