This morning I got .2% for Yankees HOFer, and .5% for Red Sox-Mariners, and 1% for Mariners HOFer!

Overall rarity score was 186.

Impressive. I got a 0.01% using a certain switch-hitting catcher I've found lots of uses for in the sim.

I'm shocked the most popular choice there wasn't Ruth, though.

It occurs to me suddenly that you could do some great themes using only players who qualify on a particular Immaculate Grid. Today's has approximately 575 qualifying players. I wonder what would be the ideal range to generate a good theme balance. I think I'd require you to use at least one player from each square, too. I think I'd probably track a few days of grids and let owners pick one to work from, too. This could gain traction.

Maybe assign a random date and use any players that appeared on that Immaculate Grid. Love it!

There have been themes based on this link:

I got .02 for Yankee/Red Sox and .3 for Yankee HOF - Legit blanked on TB/Yankee players and only Boggs came to mind - could think of only one guy who had 300 saves and played for TB

I'm not a big fan of categories like 300 saves or silver slugger, not milestones or awards people really care about or remember.

I was shocked how many options there were for the Red Sox 300 saves after I looked it up though.

The steroid era had an unhealthy obsession with signing old guys to random teams for a season years beyond the of their prime. Immediately thought of Eck and Lee Smith for the BoSox. Wonder who else was an option besides the obvious Papelbon and Kimbrel

Jeff Reardon, Billy Wagner, Rick Aguilera, Kenley Jansen and Todd Jones

I’ve somewhat helped my desire to play more by playing multiple cards. I’ll do one in incognito and one in regular browser. With the first I try to go as low a rarity as I can, with the second I try to guess the highest (most popular) as I can

I thought for sure Ruth would be #1 Red sox/yankee, but Damon passed him

I was thinking about trying to guess the most popular player as well. The obscurity is pretty astounding!

At the time of completion last night, I had 7 of 9 of the most common choices correctly chosen - only missing TOR/CLE and PHI 100RBI.

I still have 7 of 9, but my PHI/MIL pick was passed up and my TOR/PHI pick is now #1

had two 0.02% today Dick Ellsworth (Indians/Brewers) and Elmer Flick (Phillies 100 RBI).
