It get a lot of hate, but i enjoyed it. Yeah, timeline got ****** up. Another nod to the series.......and sil, well, coulda been handled better.

But, it was good. With a twist at the end.

And yes, would like a sequel to this, yet still prequel to the series.

I don’t understand professional critics. They are sometimes just a bunch of hyenas.
I happened to like the young Syl and also I thought that the riot scenes were so realistic I thought I was watching a documentary.

In a way it was not only a prequel but maybe a sequel. The narration timeline isn’t known. Is Christopher talking from the grave after Tony is whacked ( it hurts to say that ) or before. Unknown.

It sure does confirm that The Sopranos exists in a supernatural universe and that the Paulie ghouls episode was a supernatural experience and not a psychic or mental projection one.

I liked it a lot and glad you did too.

I waited a long time before pushing the button to watch it. It was worth the wait. I loved hearing the theme song at the end. Reminded me of the way the James Bond song was introduced at the end of Casino Royale.

Just started the Irishman. 30 minutes in and amazing.
The age regression is a miracle and I hope that the studios keep honing it.
it could be amazing to see DiNiro and Pacino play 30 year olds and it look real. The potential could be the sky is the limit.

Cgi sucks (the store owner fight scene!) But story, it's great.

I happen to agree with you about the CGI- the Robert DiNiro age regression was like a B to me but whatever they did with Pacino works very well for me.
No matter what they did Joe Pesci looked old.

But I do think this is going to one day be perfected and great.
