Question.

Do we have to use everyone we drafted?

Bc I 100% meant to draft Jaren Jackson Jr not Jaren Jackson.

That and I have 5 centers
Yes

There was. It was lower too. 48 or 49, can’t remember which.

Getting LeBron rules. Getting LeBron + 5 other guards is less good.

My highest usage player drafted was 22 and most below 20. This may be my biggest problem. Eric or Evan Mobley whichever is wrong, actually isn’t to killer he has a 330k season that can sit behind wilt.

PG: ________
SG: ________
SF: Ho Grant, Gafford, Okongwu
PF: B Wallace, Kessler
C: Kareem, J McGee

Zero guards and 28 total 3PM (26 from Kareem!) from my 7 draft picks. I wasn't able to use the best season of any player other than Ho Grant and Kessler. Luckily, Kareem has a really nice 2265-minute season that up until now I didn't know existed. 5 slots and $19M to use on the backcourt.

You definitely listed Eric Mobley.

No yeah I checked I definitely did it wrong. Just funny. Like I said the mistake likely saved me. I don’t know where Mobley would’ve fit.

This theme reminds me of scattergories. Lots and lots of luck. Makes me wonder a bit why it's included if we're trying to figure out the best of WIS, but, like scattergories, it's a gas.

Completely disagree about the luck part.

Yeah I’d generally say it is orders of magnitude less bullsh**. Probably a reason you see most of the best 7 man rosters from this draft align with the people currently at the top of BOWIS. I’ve played Scattegories and it is crap.

such a wasted opportunity...my list was trash

kobe should have never even been on the list...he has no seasons to burn in a $50 cap...i pretty much have to use one of his good seasons

kidd/nash/billups
kobe/lebron
lebron/henson?
?/henson?
gilmore

can also use a lower min kidd depending on whats left at the 3/4 in the free agent pool...not too bad...those super cheap nash/billups seasons really helped my chances

I have no complaints about this draft except the name matching. WTF Sports can't even keep it straight. They have different players with the same name and some players whose name changes mid career. So lazy on them. My site will have a draft built in so no need to make manual lists. Regarding strategy, this was a real challenge and I agree that luck is a factor and I also agree that it is not. Making sure your list was balanced across positions, usage, 3s, etc was crucial. Rating players w/ flexibility higher than normal was probably a good idea. And removing any players who would screw your cap or flexibility (Kobe) and prioritizing value players was also important. I actually struggled to get to 168 with all of my logic. Despite all of that planning I ended up w/ 3 of my top 4 picks being Gs and not very flexible seasons. Still, I'm pretty happy with my team

I disagree. Scattergories, while frustrating, really does test your skill in creating and re-creating lineups.
