For the past 94 seasons, Rickey world rolls with something like 23 openings every season (okay, this is slight hyperbole, it might be more like 81 seasons, I'm not exactly sure). This is despite being consistently ranked in the top 20 of World Rankings - see the thread, click the link, watch what happens. But take my word for it. We're top 20. No super teams. Great parity. Not a whole lot of WC drama over trades, politics, fondue recipes, or the etiquette of right turns on red. Sure, occasionally the oddball owner shows up and we have complications. It happens. But this time... four openings. Jerry Garcia could count that on his right hand. Miles Davis composed a song about it. Alternatively, it's a bad luck number in China. So get us to three. Or two. Or one. Or..... one can only dream. Rickey needs you. Oh... we're also still a private world, so we have private world rules against things like tanking that are kinda sorta spelled out with some detail. Also, we don't like the runner on second rule and have rules against it, too. We're the only one.

Private World Rules

• 4-season wins floor: 55-120-185-260
  • PENALTIES
    • 1st violation: Prospect budget max $15M for next season; no IFA over $5M.
    • 2nd violation: Prospect budget max $10M for 2 seasons; no IFA over $1.5M.
    • 3rd violation: No IFA signings. Any player who starts following season with 70+ OVR must be promoted within 30 games of season’s start.
    • 4th violation: Removal; no appeal. • Commissioner or vets' panel can waive 1st-yr wins floor for new owner taking on decimated franchise.
      
• Overt tanking will result in removal. Includes, but not limited to, releasing ML caliber players or prospects under contract, making trades of same for no apparent return, keeping ML caliber players in the minors, playing unqualified players at the ML level when better options sit in the minors, or playing ML players out of position.
  
• Maintain minors to eliminate tired pitchers from pitching.
  
• Cash cannot exceed the contract in a trade.
  
• Trading of future draft picks is not allowed.
  
• Please notify the commissioner via trade chat should you encounter violations of any aforementioned rules.
  
• Failure to correct any violation will lead to dismissal.
  
• And no runner on second in extra innings.
