Once we hit 14 teams, I'll enter mine and generate a league number.

Since I'm not gonna waste my time/money in the Tourney, I'll jump in here with a Giants team.

I'm taking them because I'm a Giants fan, and not necessarily because I think it's gonna lead to a good team.

How do decades play out numerically? We only get to draft from 1885 to 1889 for the first decade, then 1890 to 1899, 1900 to 1910, etc. Do we have the same problem for the last decade 2020 to 2023? Also, there was no Pirate team in the 1880s. Do I also get to pick from Burgers and Allegany's as well? Are these two teams part of the Pittsburgh family? If not, both. do my decade picks begin with 1890 to 1899 and I have no player from the 1880s? Thanks.

Yes, the 1880s (1885-1889) and the 2020's (2020-2023) are shorter windows.

Pirates get to use...
Pittsburgh Alleghenys: 1885-1886 (A.A.)
Pittsburgh Alleghenys: 1887-1890 (N.L.)
Pittsburgh Pirates: 1891-2023 (N.L.)
