If I'm a new user and I stumble on this board, I'm probably bewildered by all the stuff that caters to veterans, and I'm not coming back.

Is there a way to simplify what's at the top of the forum?

I agree. The forums are a dying breed with the discord being so active but keeping it clean would be nice for new users.

Remove the firings + the MM promo. Combine the mentor page and the discord page. Remove the career titles page if it’s not being kept up with too. Remove the recruiting investigation thread. Maybe the HD updates one too since it's been months.
