Redshirting a junior in D1A Topic

Just moved up to D1A for the first time. If I redshirt a junior, could that prompt him to leave early? If so, how likely is it?

Early entries in 1A appear to be turned off now. Makes sense with only a 50 Man roster.

I redshirted a SR QB because he wouldn’t have played a down last year but I needed him to start this year and he stuck around for his final year. His WE is now a 12 though.
