In possibly the most disturbing development for CAC coaches, Catholic, in a "down" year with a young team STILL manages to make the postseason. bmill and andrew seem to be swapping back and forth between being the dominant team. Not good for the rest of us.

Fermin is a much better player than honorable mention

Fermin played the fewest minutes of the 4, edged out Bridges in points, but with a lower shooting percentage, had the most rebounds, but also the most turnovers (in the fewest minutes) and was tied for least in blocks. He's probably exactly where he belongs as an Honorable Mention. At least you still get another year with him.

He also played on the team with the fewest wins, I don't know if that is factored in or not, but I suspect it is.

Jose Stevens got zero props as well.

Give us your predictions for next season... that should pass some time for everyone.
2/28/2006 8:38 PM
Here you go: BMill's SMM squad winning the South and becoming a #2 seed for the dance, Catholic edging Marymount in the North. Catholic goes 14-2, Marymount 13-3, St Mary's a cool 15-1. Hood also sneaks into the dance with a 41 RPI, helped by a monster #3 ranked SOS.

Owen Locklear is the breakout player everyone is talking about, but Jose Stevens is POY.

CUA doesn't finish last in the league in FG % again.
