Recruiting summary (south):
|Grover Thomson||Fr.||PG||6'0"||185||Allentown, PA||--|
What do you get the team that has everything? A future stud PG, of course. This team lost out on local boy Gallagher who would have made a nice inside-outside combo 2 years from now.
|Stanton Pinnix||Fr.||SG||6'0"||185||Flushing, NY||--|
|Dikembe Real||Fr.||SF||6'2"||190||Scranton, PA||--|
|Warren Jaco||Fr.||C||6'6"||224||Gleurnie, MD||--|
The best last names of any recruiting class in the cou, bar none. Pinnix edges Crews for worst WE of a decent recruit in the conference. He can take steps backwards the next few years and still contribute. Real is the foil. Mediocre now, monster WE. Jaco is a no speed, solid center. An interesting long-distance grab for Rogue.
|Kim Myrick||Fr.||SF||6'6"||225||Chambersburg, PA||--|
I know lido was hoping for better, but 1 man classes can be tough. Myrick might be able to contribute as a decent Rebounding and scoring SF, but his lack of ATH and DEF will hurt on the other end of the court.
|Cris Jones||Fr.||PG||6'0"||180||Wyncote, PA||--|
|Leroy Tuthill||Fr.||SG||6'2"||185||Rockville, MD||--|
|Arthur Staats||Fr.||SG||6'3"||184||Strafford, PA||--|
|Glenn Coleman||Fr.||SF||6'2"||182||Hagerstown, MD||--|
|Robin Gregoire||Fr.||PF||6'8"||218||Dumfries, VA||--|
|Russell Hamilton||Fr.||PF||6'6"||204||Midlothian, VA||--|
|Michael Herbert||Fr.||C||6'8"||210||Ft Washington, PA||--|
A decent class. Jones and Tuthill are a conference champion caliber backcourt in the making. My big complaint is the addition of some flotsam and jetsam that he'd have just as soon continue to float around in the abyss. The nice thing about a big class is that you don't have to fill it. I'd rather have the extra $$ next year than drag Staats around.
|Andy Lunceford||Fr.||PG||6'2"||203||Terre Hill, PA||--|
|Zachary Sizemore||Fr.||PF||6'6"||207||Basking Ridge, NJ||--|
|Ronald Bauer||Fr.||PF||6'9"||233||Terre Hill, PA||--|
Wolfe brings in the high school teammates. Ballish. All might contribute down the road, but Sizemore is the farthest away.
|Quinton Milazzo||Fr.||PG||5'11||175||Rockaway Park, NY||--|
|Roger Adams||Fr.||PF||6'8"||222||Wilkes Barre, PA||--|
|Robert Bober||Fr.||C||6'10||245||Mcsherrystown, PA||--|
|Michael Castelli||Fr.||C||6'8"||233||North East, MD||--|
Very, very nice stuff here. All could help some even this year, Adams could probably double effectively as a SF, particularly against zones. This is the best class in the South.
Well done overall, we were the #1 rated recruiting conference which bodes well for the next few years. CAC for life.
