I have not had a FI re-sign for a while. Others have indicated the same. I think the reason is the very high salaries that they are getting.

Salaries revert to the minimum the next season. I you make $3M+ one season, you are not going to accept $750K from the same team the following season. You will hit the FA market for the big payday.

Agreed. It should NOT be such a great feeling when your Fielding Coach will resign…. But it definitely is. If we had fake Sportscenter for HBD it would be the lead story
