Maybe because you used it on football? Only good for one total free team perhaps?

it is weird, I was able to get a football team, but for basketball, it errors out. never played any simleague game.

The code is FREESIM4 I tried it again and it works still.

I tried, got a message that it was an invalid promo code. Never players any of the Simleagues. Oh well.
