What are player units?
Player units are used to put a fictitious value on players based on their statistics. When drafting players, you will see the number of player units required for each player. If you do not have the amount of required player units for a player, you will not be able to draft him. Waiver Wire transactions and calling up minor league prospects also require player units, so it is generally a good idea to not use up all of your player units on the initial draft.
