All in all season #3 turned out about like expected. Probably beat up on the conference a little more than I thought. (16-0 with no-one getting within 10 points of beating us). The conference title game was a 7 point game or so... but no team really got close to beating us. I believe this is due to the conference being worse than I allowed for, not us being better.
We recieved a 10 seed in the NT and got beat by about 8 i think by the 7 seed who then lost in the next round.
Next season we return the entire team.
My goal from right now going forward would be to win a game in the NT next season.
I have began to hate the FCP in HD and can't wait to get rid of it next season.
Our prestige climbed to a B-
second round exit next season and another 25+ wins "should" equal at least a B+ amd maybe an A-
From there we "should " be able to recruit some players who can defend (which I see as the biggest difference between us and actual good teams)

All in all just about where I expected / predicted we would be 3-4 seasons ago.
It's always tough not to start thinking your team is better than they really are when you enter the NT 28-1.
This next recruiting session will be the one I have been looking forward to since the experiment began.
I must admit however several of my first recruits really turned out to be pretty decent players.
Nick Adams was very good, he would start and play and score on any D3 team. (Def was a little weak).
McNeely and Newman did an excellant job inside. McNeely could score, Newman did everything else.
Hurlburt could shoot but couldn't defend, and Bartholomew was a really good PG who couldn't pass.

The class of 4 behind these 5 was probably not quite as good as those 5 are. But again, still decent.

Johnson is the only one of the group who will ever be able to shoot.
The rest will only score on lay-ups and put-backs i guess

Just not pleased at all with what I did here.
It's the week before Christmas, I was pretty busy, and every thing I did seemed to blow.
I pulled down Johnson fairly early... wow a 398 D2 prospect.
Everyone else was signed basically as a drop down after signings had began.
I was on 2 pretty decent players but someone with better or equal prestige showed up the same or next cycle.
One kid was very good but was a juco junior. I just didn't need another junior, and to RS him would have blown thru even more of my money.
Last 3 guys were all signed for one home visit and an offer. Pretty sad.
It appears that we are going to be a pressure defense team first and hope we never end up in a half-court offense.
I really didn't want to sell-out to defense but just didn't have the time to find, pull-down, and then fight for the better kids.
We will see. This class will either send me down a new path in D3, or depress me and finish me off 4 seasons from now when they stumble out of the NT with a first round loss.
Time will tell.

recruited a couple bigs to help inside. They have no WE so they won't get alot better in the next 2 seasons, and that's about how long I expect to stay.
This team is not nearly as talented as the group above from 2 seasons ago.
