As the one who wrote the vast majority of the player/coach responses to negotiations though, I can tell you those ratings mean a lot in the tone you get back.

That said, I totally ignore those ratings as a) I don't remember the impact, b) everything may have changed since then and c) in the aggregate I don't know if there is much to gain over a full...

I haven't worked for WIS in almost 17 years, but I helped originally write the HBD algorithms. Most of that is just actual randomness (go look at stats through 25 games for any actual MLB team).
