With my luck, they'll find their game against the Broncos next week after getting chewed up by the rest of the AFC West.  Hopefully Forte is out at least one week.

We lost by 5 points.  I fail to see how it was either traumatic or a beatdown.

Mike is the one blocking traumatic experiences - that Dolphin depantsing of the Raiders probably has his brain so scrambled at this point he can't differentiate from a close loss and a whipping.

Holy Christ do we suck without the Cutler. I'd be shocked if we won a single game with Hanie at the helm. I'm gonna go ahead and blame that dumbass Angelo for not bringing in a veteran backup QB in the off season. On a side note, that Calibos-looking Borger and his band of idjits have to be the worst NFL officiating crew out there.

Mike is actually pretty upbeat for a bandwagon fan.

As a Vikings fan, I'm a little surprised that there were people all over McNabb to retire. His QB rating was 16th. He was average, not terrible. The Vikings were 1-5 and it wasn't entirely because they had an average quaretback. Hard to know why teams really make the moves they do, but seemed likely they wanted to see if the first round pick was going to work out or not. 1-5 teams don't make the playoffs, so why not?

At the beginning of the season, his targets are supposed to be Bernard Berrian (deep threat, later released), Visanthe Shaincoe and a bunch of guys with names that I don't recognize. The real issue is more likely the defense that has allowed more points than anyone other than the Colts and Panthers.Frankly, what he did in Minnesota was probably not that bad considering that he didn't have a training camp and the team has struggled to find receivers.

It sort of surprised me that the Bears were not interested in him. Seems to me, they could do worse.

Classy Bears organization.  Refuse to pay your franchise back more money, up his workload and make him carry the offense, and now he's hurt.  That's a good way to make players want to play for you.

The best part of this post was the part where JTard didn't bother to put in the part where the Bears offered Forte a contract extension before the season.  An extension worth $14M in guaranteed money, plus whatever the incentives and stuff were.  Typical of a moron to not include facts in his irrational hate.

Typical of you to not include the part where that offer is a joke to a RB of Forte's caliber.
