Nope. Offense not important. We'd rather pay a DE running back like money. It's all about defense. Get rid of promising TE's. Have an undersized CB/punt returner as your #1 WR. Should just down the ball 3 times every offensive series, then punt and leave it up to our special teams and defense. Though, isn't that what we kind of do anyways? Bitter.

Is paying him going to make him able to play this week?

They offered him $14M.  He said no.  Too bad for him he's a dumbass.

That $14M was a slap in the face offer.  Now, if he know the options were "Take $14M or get hurt and make nothing" I'm sure he would have taken it. But at the time his situation was "I'm a top RB and comparable guys are making way more.  I want my cut."  Can't really fault the guy for not jumping to accept.

You really live down to your rep as a huge retard if you think that's a slap in the face offer.  It's only the guaranteed part of the deal, he stood to make millions more if he had hit the incentives and such and it compares favorably to other backs of his caliber.  He's never even been to a Pro Bowl.

Still not on par with the top RBs in the league.
