ugh!  talk about coming out flat for the 1st period.... I'm having flashbacks to the det-phi 97 stanley cup

TB's goalie was unbelievable... stamkos amazes me... he might be the best player in the nhl and he's only 20.  These guys are going to be tough to beat in the playoffs.

Tampa has the right formula.  Be the worst team in the league for a few years and stock up on elite talent.  Then compete for the Stanley Cup for a few years, maybe even winning one or two.  Then go back to being the worst team in the league and re-stock.  Continue the cycle over and over.

I just hope we don't have to face them in the playoffs. They seem to be the only team the Flyers can't beat this year.

That was a 5 period funk... no heart combined w/ poor passing, checking, defense, goaltending, etc.  They snapped out of it just in time to get a W vs the preds.  It was getting dreadful to watch.

so far the LAK/PHI game has been good.  lots of hits... everything sounds like a playoff game in philly - gotta love the fan support.  gut feeling says carcillo/clifford go back at it before this one is over.

 I am in shock that the Philly Flyers have 10 NHL teams with more PiMs than they do!!!
I am also in shock that there are 9 NHL teams with more penalties than them!
And I am most in shock that there are 12 NHL teams with more major penalties than they have!! 
...oh wait, the team with the most in all 3 categories (the Pittsburgh Penguins) has played 3 more games than them.
Ok, I am no longer in shock anymore. 
(except for the Pens being #1)

both teams are playing well but being down 0-1 is an strange feeling this late in the game.
