I think Salo is only allowed to play 3 games down there. It would good for him to get a good amount of NHL games in before the playoffs. Of course, it would also be good for guys like Rome and Tanev to get games in (for off season decisions) but first things first.

Salo may play Wed night.  But will likely play Saturday night against the Flames.

Trap game tonight against the Sens, we were very lucky to win.  If the Sens had gotten any luck or bounces they would have won this game.
Our D gave up way too many odd man chances.  Our forwards were looking for the perfect pass for a high lite goal...........JUST shoot the friggin puck!!

Another tester tonite ..Anaheim plays good in Vancouver, plus they get Getzlaf back tonite..if they take the Ducks lightly it could be the end of the winning streak

Any status on Dan Hamhuis yet? Sure would hate to lose another Dman. The game was fast and both teams had lots of chances to score. You're right about them trying to make the perfect pass all the time. Now lets see how this team bounces back Vs Calgary. I think we have to score early and often on Kipper to get him off his game. He's the reason the fLames have been winning.

Careful what you say if you haven't been watching the games

That said you shouldn't be too worried. You got us on the back end of back to back games

He (Hamhuis) skated today.....but did not practice?

I hear he (Hamhuis) is doubtful for Saturday against the Flameouts.....Luongo is ill and may not play?

Hamhuis has a head injury???  Not yet listed as a concussion???  That worries me??

Could be nothing?  Could be Marc Savard?

We need our top 8 d-men HEALTHY to make a LONG PLAYOFF run happen.

Flames already making excuses..whats a back to back? ..like your the only team that ever plays back to back games..give me a break

FYI TSN posted today that Hamhuis is out indefinitely with a concussion, but Salo has been recalled while Hodgson was sent down...

Thx Andru , but no matter how hard you try we wont let you be a Canucks fan..I know the Hawks are going down like Jenna Jamieson in the dressing room of a UFC event  but there is just no way..go try to hitch your wagon to the Flames  band wagon.. take Cletis...i mean Muddy with you

lol...just an fyi bud...as I've said if the Hawks are not in contention, I'll be rooting for the Canadian teams to win one.

Hawks = Rangers, ie. see you in another 50 years.

Canucks are positioned to last despite the Luongo dinosaur contract.

So whats up with Hodgson?  You guys keep promoting him like the second coming of Pavel Bure, but he never sticks.  I think I'll dub him "Teflon Hod".  He never sticks.

I wouldnt say its an excuse considering the last time we played you was the same scenario with the second of back to back games and we won in a shutout

hawks have 2 good young first line players to build around signed long term. so do the canucks. hawks have a good young checking centre to shut down the opposing teams top line locked up long term, so do the canucks. hawks have a good young #1 defense pair, half of which is locked up long term, so do the canucks. hawks have a bad contract that limits how much depth they can bring in, and so do the canucks. so explain to me how the canucks are better positioned to last? the only differences I see are the conn smythe, Norris and Stanley cup.
