 I am in shock that the Philly Flyers have 10 NHL teams with more PiMs than they do!!!
I am also in shock that there are 9 NHL teams with more penalties than them!
And I am most in shock that there are 12 NHL teams with more major penalties than they have!! 
...oh wait, the team with the most in all 3 categories (the Pittsburgh Penguins) has played 3 more games than them.
Ok, I am no longer in shock anymore. 
(except for the Pens being #1)

Tampa has the right formula.  Be the worst team in the league for a few years and stock up on elite talent.  Then compete for the Stanley Cup for a few years, maybe even winning one or two.  Then go back to being the worst team in the league and re-stock.  Continue the cycle over and over.


That does not seem to be working for the NY Islanders and some other NHL teams. LOLZ

Well, if the refs called all the **** my Habs pull
AND called all the **** the opponents pull on my Habs,

there would be more of an increase in penalty stats for the opponents
than there would be an increase in penalty statss for my Habs.

I think that there is a conspiracy against the Flyers and refs. HOW COULD THAT REFEREE NOT SEE THAT HIT ON PRONGER?!? HE COULD HAVE GOTTEN INJURED PRETTY BAD! IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN A BOARDING MAJOR ON TAMPA! BUT NOOO, THEY HAD TO CALL THE PENALTY ON PRONGER!

The only thing lavy has said is that he's not breaking up the Leino, Briere, Hartnell line.

A conspiracy against the refs...
...is it a conspiracy when the public already knows.

In this case, the public is almost always against the refs, when calls are not for their favourite team and when calls are against it.

hats off to boosh.  great game - enjoyable 7 man shootout with great saves. versteeg looked better as the game went on.  glad to finally get a tough win vs TB.  They are REALLY good.

Got a little nervous in the 2nd period after Powe's short-handed penalty shot, Tampa came back with 2 quick ones. Boosh stood tall in the 3rd, OT, and the shootout. good to get the Tampa monkey off of their back.

Another win. I keep hoping for a Bobs shutout... but that will have to wait. Ideally they will stop giving up 2 and 3 goal leads before the playoffs but a win is a win all the same.

As a side - Versteeg had a nice assist to richie in the 1st period.
