STANLEY CUP CHAMPIONS 2009-10 Topic

Wow...what a much-needed win and 2 points today.  After standing around with their sticks up their ***** on the typing goal, they manage to win in a shootout, something they've been awful at lately.  As it stands now, we're only 2 pts out of the playoffs and have a quick turnaround tomorrow afternoon against the revamped Blues in the Loo.  I'm not betting on them coming back with anything tomorrow, as they've been so inconsistent lately.

I thought the effort was pretty good overall today. I liked the fact that the hawks showed some emotion today like when Crawford banged his stick on the ice after the tying goal. nick leddy I thought was also particularly good in limited ice time. tomorrow is big for momentum building. they need to string a couple together.

Leddy has been fantastic so far.  He's been incredibly patient with the puck in his own zone and has jumped into the play a few times as well.  I like him being paired with Keith as well.

yeah that trade is looking better every day.

Frolik = disappointment. 4 games, 0 G, 0 A, +/- -1, 4 PIMs. Looking like it will be 5 games.

its gonna take time to find the right chemistry for him. don't underestimate the absence of quenneville here.

That statement is either moy showing what he doesn't know about hockey or just a poke.

Mostly a poke.... but really he has zero to show for his effort even though its only been 5 games.

I have noticed his minutes declining the last few games.

He has zero points to show, but he's gaining the respect of the coaches and his teammates, which is more than Skille had.  He was all over the ice today and was robbed of a goal, got the rebound and robbed of an assist on the subsequent chance he set up directly after.  I like him a lot.

Hawks finally played a physical game and it paid off.

Leddy does seem to be showing promise. Might even allow the hawks to let Seabrook go.

Dallas and Anaheim have started to tank??

Maybe the Hawks can squeak in to the playoffs?

If so I hope the Hawks do play the Canucks, so we can silence you once and for all.....

Muddy and you a commie??  You silence the critics like one??  I thought this was America, land of the free............FREEDOM of SPEECH......
