The funny thing is I don't know if the Bruins would be a worse team without Chara.

Of all things Chara has said the only thing I call BS on is that he didn't know who he was hitting.  Give me a break on that one... yea he knew and yea he put a little extra into thing because of that.  BUT no I don't believe drove the guy deliberately into the post.

I agree with raucous..it's silly to even compare this with what Bertuzzi did or even the McSorley incident.  And it's stupid for a referee to call things on Chara differently than any other player...

oh yeah ..those big bad bruins gettin all worked up over a wittle shove....wah....patches said b4 the game he had a target on him...and subban....boychuk tried earlier to get subban....then white beat the snot out of him....then....score out of hand...history between...an oppurtunity...chara hasn`t even apoligized

Then maybe patches should have kept his head up.

Agreed.  Unless a player is a complete dumbdumb, they know who is where in the ice.  They really should change the configuration of the glass and make it like a front window from the sides and no glass in front.  I doubt there would be a lot of complaints with more pucks goiing out of play.
