does Toews have 37 goals and the Selke?  no Joke ..Kesler with his goals and defense  and Henrik the MVP..Toews is our 3rd line center..and i like Toews ...good Canadian kid

we do - and we pay him less - bottom line though is I'm not saying Richie is as good as Crosby or Ovechkin.

Muddy is dilusional..Poirot is in his head.. or gives head? not sure ? ..sorry   Toews is good but what kind of crack head would ever trade Crosby for Toews?..time to take MuddytheNarc for a evaluation....Smithers...err i mean  Andru ...would be better served by staying out of this

 see what i mean? he's probably Sh!tting the bed as we talk..Richards may be a fraction less of the player Toews is but any sensible hockey fan knows they are pretty much in the same category..i would give the edge to Richards in toughness and intangibles..Toews maybe a bit more skill..not much

fyi - you do realize an elite player like Ovechkin has had 52, 46, 65, 56, 50 goals per season dating back to his rookie season (age 20). He's had 96+ points every season.  He's won 2 Hart trophies, an Art Ross, and a Rocket Richard in different seasons (not just one season like Toews 1 trophy).  Every season Ovechkin has almost 200 more hits than most big name forwards including Toews.  Dude is physical and can play D.  How can you even make a case they are close.  

Crosby has broken every "youngest player to" record you can think of.  He got hurt this season and it still took about 20 games for the rest of the league to catch him in goals and points.  Also has a Stanley Cup to boot.  Crosby is so good I loathe the guy.
