Loss to Sharks for all purposes ends it for the Flames...with onLY 6 games left and all the play now in conference.... They HAVE to win all 6 and pray for a miracle

 I prefer to see the Flames make it over the Hawks ..nothing i would like to see more than MuddytheNarc and Inspector Poirot console each other sporting chubbies after the Hawks lose out..

well, it's pretty much official now.  barring some miracle collapse of nashville or chicago (as well as dallas) the flames are done.  and what a terribly reffed game tonight.  bad calls on both sides.  disallowing a legitimate goal.  (FU Toronto).   and to cap it off calling off the icing at the end.  complete bullshit.  but even if the flames did win, their chances were slim.  we make an incredible run from late december to march only to collapse once again and barely miss the playoffs.  maybe we'll finally make some moves for the future and get some prospects in the offseason.  :>

As mentioned before..MAJOR DISASTER is NOT making the playoffs after not being sellers at the deadline.

Kind of feel sorry for Feaster though, he was in a no win spot.  If makes a major move (ie trading away Regher) fans would've wanted his head on platter!  Team seemed to going really well and making a run at the playoffs, and he trades away his best d-man.....  He stands pat and they don't make the post season...he's equally screwed. For NOT getting picks and/or prospects when he could've ...   EVEN IF they did make the playoffs, this team is in a BAD position for the future...no 2nd or 3rd round in upcoming draft, no real prospects in the farm system right now....  

I still honestly feel he should have said "F" the fans and made the moves on Feb 28....  Take the heat!  Have something that previous GM didn't, a long term vision..

 So it looks like i may only owe you $30 Nickhead? Leafs are going to have less points than Calgary(not much) so thats $50 to you ,but if Calgary misses i get $20 back on the 3-1 odds Calgary misses the playoffs..sound right to you?
