He is, and it has ZERO to do with what I think our chances are.  Besides, only a sucker jumps on a bet that he has zero input in.  I may as well just mail you a check.

Sounds like you already are preparing for Toews to let the hawks down like he did over the final 9 game stretch.

To me, the most interesting thing about this series is going to be that, for all the talk about the Sedins, Toews and Kane, it may come down to who's 3rd and 4th lines score more. If Bolland plays and his line matches up against the Sedins and Kesler's line matches up with Toews, They almost cancel eachother out. That's why I think Vancouver has the edge. Their 3rd and 4th lines have a little more punch than the Hawks.

Toews sure let us down last year too.  That Conn Smythe trophy on his resume is kinda sweet, though.

I back up my talk.  Every time.  You initiated the bet talk, ergo, it's not I who needs to bck up anything.

After you can't find something, you can go back to being hockey-retarded and say Toews isn't an elite player. I'm really getting a lot of milage out of that amongst my hockey (not all from Chicago) peeps.

well we'll find out exactly what Toews is made of starting in about 3 hours time...is it normal that I'm more excited for this series then the previous 2 vs. the canucks? There's something fun about being a heavy underdog...

I'd prefer having a juggernaut like last year, but there is zero pressure on us.  Even if we were at full strength...which we won't be...we'd be the underdogs.  The best thing we have going for us is that Vancouver wanted to face ANYONE but us, and as soon as 7uongo lets in his first soft goal, the entire city will get ******* pucker and think "Here we go again".  We need to jump on that and keep the pressure on to have a chance.

I don't expect a repeat, but I'd be satisfied if we could bounce the Canucks again.  That would make my summer a happy one, until I watched enough Cubs games to make me sick.
