I can`t speak for anyone else, but I never said ANY of the guys we lost weren`t contributors to the Cup. I only made the point that, given the fact that they had no choice, I believe they kept the right guys (Kane, Sharp, Bolland) over the alternatives (Byfuglien, Versteeg, Ladd).

You overlook the third choice...........Could have unloaded Campbell + a pick......then Kept Buff and added a "d" man like Hamhuis or Ballard???

I actually strongly agree with this statement

Wrong...with Byfuglien, Ladd, Versteeg, Fraser, Eager, Burish, Sopel, Niemi we won the Cup. Each one of those guys made a difference. Hell, Brent Sopel was the best defenseman on the ice for the Hawks against Nashville I thought.

We agree on that, but Campbell`s no movement clause makes that near impossible unfortunately.

By the way, Alex Edler is a HUGE difference maker for the Canucks...as is a healthy Ryan Kesler. They had neither last season in the series against the Hawks.

 ?? I dont get it? I really dont.. we all watched last year right? Dustin Byfuglien was the only reason  the Hawks got past Vancouver..we had no answer for him..he was the difference...why do the Hawks  get all offensive over this? i dont get it?  im perplexed...then Buff goes to ATL and the Hawks barely make the playoffs...thx to the Wild..its so obvious ?   Toews? yes he is good..as good as Kesler ,Richards ...Hawks fans are dilussional...get over yourselves...u are not as good as you think
