The fact is that the only teams that would have and could have taken his salary wouldn`t be destinations he`d accept a deal to.
How did you get to see his list of teams?

By the way, Alex Edler is a HUGE difference maker for the Canucks...as is a healthy Ryan Kesler. They had neither last season in the series against the Hawks.
?? I dont get it? I really dont.. we all watched last year right? Dustin Byfuglien was the only reason  the Hawks got past Vancouver..we had no answer for him..he was the difference...why do the Hawks  get all offensive over this? i dont get it?  im perplexed...then Buff goes to ATL and the Hawks barely make the playoffs...thx to the Wild..its so obvious ?   Toews? yes he is good..as good as Kesler ,Richards ...Hawks fans are dilussional...get over yourselves...u are not as good as you think
That`s taking alot away from a good Canucks team randle. Their defense was decimated during that series and Kesler played all 6 games with a separated shoulder. I don`t disagree Buff made a difference, but to say he was the ONLY difference in the series is very short sighted.

On a side note, this 2nd has been a better period for the Hawks. Toews, Kane and Sharp have created alot of offense and Luongo has stepped up to every challenge.

I have one question...where is Marian Hossa?

moy, if you're Brian Campbell, you're not going to the Islanders or the Panthers. I'm just thinking of the teams that could have fit his salary under their cap is all. I didn't mean anything by it.

I'm not Campbell.

Also teams like the Kings, Rangers, etc that did not get Ilya Kovalchuk had room especially if Campbell was packaged with picks.

I already said John asked bloggers from out of town, so you're wrong...as usual.

Campbell's contract is unmovable at $7.1m per season.  Nobody is going to take that and that's a fact.

Don't you get tired of being wrong?
John did all that for you - you must be pretty special to him

Teams with hopes of making the playoffs wouldn't handcuff themselves with a contract like that moy. the likeliest landing spot is a rebuilding team where the salaries are low, the players are young and the veteran leadership is invaluable. I think it's a pretty logical conclusion.

I'm just a loyal contributor who actually watches the games, not just leafs thru the box scores looking for goals.  He got a huge laugh out of it, as did the guys he asked.  For the record, they write blogs in Detroit (2 guys out there), Boston, Pittsburgh, Colorado and St Louis and all wondered how anyone with a brain could claim Toews isn't an elite player.
4/13/2011 11:51 PM
no ****.  really.  his only defense is " I know a guy who knows a guy that..."  or   "anyone that knows hockey agrees"  ... I'm still waiting to hear Toews name in the Hart Trophy talk.

You are blocking the author of this post, juiced33, which is probably for the best, as the retard couldn't form a complete sentence to save his own ***.
