Too bad you didn't have the refs from the Habs game. Would have been 5 and a game for sure. But then Kane would have had to roll around on the ice like he was shot too

Hey, the Canucks got really physical, maybe for the first time ever, and the refs let 'em play.  Shouldn't be a surprise that Kane can get beat up every now and then.

It's not, nor did we complain about the hard play.

Henrik is a punk for disrespecting the Hawks after the game. Toews would never do such a classless thing. Bieksa is also a Gutless Punk who is only tough when a tough guy isn't on the ice. Nashville is gonna ace these punks.

Nothing to hang your heads about in that series. You've got a great young goaltender in Chicago for sure. Fuqu the Oilers, Flames, Wild and Avs, you guys are our biggest rival. I really like your team there, besides Kane. See you next season.

Yeah I saw that quote from Henrik. It really surprised me how classless it comes off. I didn't think Henrik was that kind of player. That said, it's not like he wasn't speaking partial truth because I believe the Canucks did outplay them badly in games 1, 6 and 7. But as the captain of your team and representative of your city, you don't direspect your opponent like that. I didn't hear one Hawk (other than Burish, but did he really even matter?) say anything negative about the Canucks in spite of ample opportunities to do so the last 3 seasons. Truly sad.

As for the refereeing, by no means was this series decided by the refs. I think the better team won, period. That said, last night was a rough night for the officials. I thought they called penalties that were borderline (like the hook on Keith and the trip by Edler<I think) and let much more severe infractions go. I was thinking all night that the players must have had no idea what was a penalty and what wasn't by the end of the night. Again though, to be clear, just an observation not a complaint.

What did he say?

He acted like a douche and said how the Hawks had no business in the series and how badly Vancouver outplayed the Hawks.  What a shame the guy has shown himself to be as classless as he is gutless.

My condolences, Hawks fans.
Your rookie goalie, if he keeps improving at this rate, should kick arse for you next season!

Sorry but you guys are BIGOTS for dissecting what a player says in his second language when you know full well what he meant.  It's amazing you accept Canadian players on your team. I'm sure Henrik doesn't have the same street rapper ediquette in expressing himself as the Hawk faithful and hence, rarely uses terms like "punk".

Kind of hard for Bieksa to be on the ice with a tough guy against a team that doesn't have any. Unless you count the 30 seconds in the series where Q iced a non-hockey player with instructions to punch people in the face. Last time I checked, Bieska was a better hockey than all but 6 or 7 of the Hawks and deserves to play under the same rules as those hockey players.

Please.  You and everyone knows what he meant because he said it clearly...he speaks English just fine.  Don't make up excuses for a guy who has proven gutless.  Calling anyone a bigot while making that excuse is equally as retarded.

The day that slug Bieksa is better than all but 6 or 7 current Hawks is the day I buy juiced33 an ice cream cone.  What a laugh.  Your assertions about Scott are wrong as well.  The guy sucks, but if he was sent out to punch faces, he must not take orders well because he punched nobody.  That pussboy Bieksa managed to candyass out of a fight when Scott challenged him though.  Yeah, he's a real gamer.   I gave you credit for being smarter than that.

So your assertion is that Bieksa is a useless goon (who plays 26 minutes a night) and should fight Chicago's useless goon. Get a clue. Do you watch hockey? When Stalberg slashes you in the face and it goes uncalled, what's the manly thing to do? Slash him back (the Bickell method)  or challenge him to a fight. The fact that Chicago doesn't have any actual players who can stick up for themselves when challenged for their stick work isn't Bieksa's problem.
