When your best friend is locked in a vets office wondering why you left him there 2 days ago now he is alone and needing $1500 of surgery ,you dont much care about the Finals as much as you did last week..posting or not posting this game doesnt mean as much anymore

Best wishes Randle.

A week ago tomorrow I took mt 12 year-old Rott to the vet not knowing if she was coming back home with me.

She's on a couple of meds, and has to go back tomorrow for lab work, but she's doing better, laying in my spot on the couch while I pace around acting like this game matters.

Hoping for the best.

Dog people know dog people.

Pepper has either a partially (hopefully) torn ligament and/or cartilage in her right knee. I'm having to carry her up the porch steps. She's on pain meds and doggie arthritis meds and doing 300% better. But now we have to see how she's tolerating the meds. If they're wrecking her kidneys or liver, we gotta go to plan B, all the while hoping she doesn't completely tear the ligament before it heals. She's 12, she ain't gonna do well with reconstructive knee surgery I can't begin to dream of being able to afford anyhow.

But she's here now. She's not even really a very good dog, but we're like an old married couple after 12 years.

And back to the matter at hand, Luongo is scary even when he's playing a'ight. That fumble on the little wrister he gloved wasn't confidence-inspiring.

7uongo puts it into his own net.  That's gotta sting.

Wow.  What a way to have your season ended...on a shortie that was incredibly stoppable.

Boy, it sure got quiet there.

Randle, there is actually dog health insurance that you can get for your friend.  It covers part of those costs if you have it.

I hope everything works out ok.

Yet another play above reproach from the classy Canuck team.  Glad we all were wrong about that team being a bunch of cheap-shotting thugs.
