Nice chemistry between Giroux & Jagr. Good to see Pronger on the ice but clearly not 100%. Bryz made some great saves, but I bet would like to have the Marchand break away as a "do over".

Giroux scores on a nice pass from JVR.  The JVR-Giroux-Jagr line is really exciting to watch.

Hard to find many faults in the flyers play the last two games. Aggressive PP/PK play, great D, and Bryz has been fantastic.  G and JVR have stepped it up in their new roles like management claimed they would (when they dealt Richie and Carts).  The biggest surprise imo is Couturier and Read.  Read is a fiesty one (and plays hard every shift)... Couturier has been solid on Faceoffs and has demonstrated solid 2-way play at the NHL level (so far).  I think the kid stays in the NHL this season after 9 games.  Can't wait til Schenn gets the call up.  This is the most 'balanced' flyers team I can remember in some time.

Only in Philly will a guy have a shutout, but the player of the game's stats are 1 goal and a fight.

couturier looked really good, as did read.  good to see the young guys effective on special teams (PK) in particular. Would love to see Nodl or Rinaldo sent back down for Schenn. 4th line looked shaky tonight.... Rinaldo-Talbot-Nodl.

bryz (despite giving up 4 goals) did not look too bad considering he faced 40 SOG.

That JVR-Giroux-Jagr line is going to give teams hell this season.  They just look really, really good.  Giroux with 5 points in 3 games, 3 consecutive games with a goal scored.

Pronger and Mez with goals tonight.  D chipped in.... been a while ;)
