There are certain players that can't play in certain environments and Bryzgalov might be one. He's completely lost his confidence anf if I was a Flyer fan I would have wanted them to give BOB a shot at #1 all season including the playoffs. I remember the summer of 06 and hoping the Leafs went entire season with Telvquist and Aubin. The reason was they were both cap friendly. Instead we traded for RAYCROFT and ........

I'm sure Bryzgalov will get out of this cuz. It's far too early to be saying he sucks. Of course the worry is you don't want to end up like the Canucks with an unmoveable goalie. On the plus side Jagr looks like he's heating up.

I think its more than just bryz or Bob. This defense needs to 'calm down' when pronger is out of the line up. Kimmo needs to settle them down and get them working like a team... they all seem to be taking it in their own hands and trying to do too much as individuals rather than as a unit. This happened last season with the same group of defenders.

I like bryz and he will bounce back imo. His first four games were great against tough opponents .... the next 4 not so much.

Giroux.... 4 point night (including a SHA). He has such a knack for picking off passes. I think that makes giroux the league leader in points.

That line is really looking good... Again. Nice to see hartnell work out of his demotion from the 3rd line to 1st line duties. I didn't like rinaldo at first but he seems to add some spark which is good. Couturier solid once again.

Bryz bounced back after an atrocious effort against Winnipeg. Granted... Carolina is not much of a true test for him.... but good to see him stop a few pucks.

No...sorry to say, some streaky trade fodder in Toronto still has the lead...

Couturier looking good on the second line.... Gets the goal. JVR gets another goal... Flyers up 2 two minutes in.

Question is.... Can the d hold without pronger?

Hartnell makes it 3. Ryan miller pulled already. nice.

With the injuries going into this game (Briere, Pronger, Schenn, JVR) Voracek should get plenty of time to do something against his old team.  He has been a waste of a roster spot all season.
