Where are the excuses? Was it he Refs fault? Was it really Luongo on Schneider's equipment? What happened to the mighty Canucks?? I can't believe they lost to a bottom 6 team!

No excuses from me. Pay back was a *****. Hawks played like they needed to win the game. The tables were turned for sure.

You didnt see the Vigneault reference? no excuse  to losing to a non playoff teams like the Hawks or Oilers..falls on the coach..it cannot happen..he should be shown  the door

these are the teams you see on the sched and mark down 2 points ..Canucks play down to the level of the opposition and have done for years ..if the team has tuned out Vigneault it is time to make a change

You're right. It can't be the lack of forward depth, the undisciplined play or the off-season losses...those things only affect the hawks right? :-P

Lame excuse, coming from you that's no surprise though.  Players have to play and in the last 3-4 years they have trouble with the Blackhawks. 

Blah! Blah! Blah!........No excuses from me.  Problem with the Canucks is they are playing like a bunch of  individules.  They seem to have abandoned the team approach that made them so successful last season.  TEAM DEFENCE should be the coaches approach.....The goals will come and so will the wins.

The off season losses have not hurt this team.  The lack of disipline, and the lack of team play are clearly to blame.  This team needs a locker room leader to wake everyone up before they end up like last years Hawks who squeaked into the playoffs on the last day of the regular season? 

Say what you want, but the reality is that the Canucks Defense corps as a whole is -22 on the season, with only Salo, Rome and Sulzer on the positive side. Their defense needs to be better, regardless of who the goaltender is.

Also, much like the Hawks, I still don't think they have the horses up front in the bottom 6 to withstand a significant injury, like Kesler.

They're also probably suffering from having short off-seasons for 3 straight seasons and a "Stanley Cup hangover", only without the Cup.
