Gross incompetence.  Shamahan keeps contradicting his own reasoning.  Shaw, in the laughable opinion of the incompetent NHL disciplinary dept, doesn't make enough of an effort to avoid contact.  Fine, if you say so.  They term it "incidental contact" and he still gets 3 games.  Shea Weber maliciously tries to injure Zetterberg and gets no punishment.  Carkner of Ottawa sucker-punches a Ranger player, then jumps on the defenseless guy he just clobbered and punches him several more times and gets one game.  The guy simply has no clue what he's doing. 

Good thing we're deep and can replace Shaw for a few games.  Mike Smith is a flopper of the first degree and I hope someone runs him tonight and really gives him something to flop about.

Totally agreed.  When you look at all the stuff he's dealt with and how he's meted out the discipline, it's apparent he really has no idea what he's doing.  Right now, Shea Weber is laughing his *** off....again....at how he got away with trying to cripple a player while Shaw is sitting for 3 games for incidental contact.

At this rate, Aaron Asham will get a $5,000 bonus from Shamahan.

Torres leaves his feet and targets Hossa'as head.  I guarantee Shamahan won't do more than fine him.

Hossa taken off on a stretcher with a neck immobilizer.  Torres doesn't even get 2 minutes.  Shaw gets 3 games.

Oh, and we get the penalty here.  I'm done with the NHL.

Shanahan is definitely all over the map.

This ALL stems from the Weber non-suspension.  This is amazingly brutal and I can't abide watching this **** anymore.  When star players are brutalized and nothing is done about it, I can't in good conscience devote my time to it anymore.

Not even a little funny.  Hossa will be lucky if he's not seriously injured.  And the NHL won't even give Torres a phone call. 

I don't think the league will see Torres for a long time. A long time.

And eventually (some time in the next decade) shanny will make that decision... But first he is STILL waiting to decide the fate of Asham and Neal.
